Starting this week (10/23), unprepared and behavior letters will be sent home for parents to sign. In an effort to keep the line of communication open, this is a chance for me to give updates to you on how your children are performing in phys ed. Many of you will not be receiving a letter. I do teach approximately 1200 students and this week I will be sending out 15 behavior letters and 5 unprepared letters. If you receive a behavior letter please sign it and have your child return it to me. I do keep a log as to who I send letters home to so please get them back to me in a timely manner. At the bottom of the letter you will have the opportunity to write your phone number and request that I give you a call to discuss the matter further. If a second letter needs to be sent home, you will be receiving a phone call from me. The unprepared slips get sent home to students that have 2 unprepared's in the current marking period. This has a tremendous impact on your child's grade especially because we only have physical education once per week. Students are required to wear sneakers on days of gym no matter what the weather. Examples of exceptions include but are not limited to picture day. As always, thank you everyone for your continued support. It takes a village and please know that I am always here to answer any questions you may have. Thank you and hopefully I will see you soon!
